Rahul Gandhi to Lead ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ Across Bihar from August 17
Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, will launch the ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar starting August 17 from Sasaram. Former state Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh announced the campaign during a press briefing in Patna, highlighting Gandhi’s extended stay in the state until the yatra concludes with a rally in Patna on September 1.
The campaign will cover 25 districts over a period of more than two weeks, with scheduled rest days on August 20, 25, and 31. Singh emphasized that this yatra is intended to galvanize public sentiment in favor of the INDIA bloc before the upcoming assembly elections.
The launch will see participation from prominent opposition leaders including Tejaswini
Yadav and representatives from Left parties. The closing rally in Patna aims to bring together a wide range of like-minded political allies.
